Siale Faeamani will return to first grade this weekend, with the Titans youngster handed another opportunity after more than three months on the sidelines.
The 22-year-old has been called into Gold Coast's side for Saturday's home clash against South Sydney, with Jojo Fifita ruled out after suffering a hip pointer injury.
Faeamani will move into the centres for the 3pm kick-off at Cbus Super Stadium, marking his first NRL appearance since Round 9.
It is a welcome opportunity for the young outside back, who impressed early in his debut NRL campaign before an MCL injury against the Raiders brought his season to a halt.
Faeamani burst onto the scene in Round 1 against the Sharks and went on to feature in eight games for the Titans, crossing for four tries and producing a try assist, three line breaks and three tackle breaks.
His MCL strain kept him out for three to four weeks, but the 22-year-old has had to wait considerably longer for his return to the top team.
He eventually worked his way back through the Tweed Seagulls and has now been rewarded with a recall to the Titans' top side.
Faeamani's promotion is the only change to the Gold Coast team, with Matt Feagai elevated onto the extended bench following Fifita's withdrawal.
The clash will also hold special significance for the Titans, with the club set to honour former favourite Jai Arrow, who will also be remarkably running out for the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The NRL have changed the interchange rules to allow arrow to reach his 100 game milestone at Souths, after he was forced to retire with MND.
Arrow spent three seasons on the Gold Coast between 2018 and 2020 after coming through the Burleigh Bears, and is set to reach 100 games in Rabbitohs colours across their next two matches.
