  1. I note the Cowboys named Taumalolo in the side. I’ll be confused if the judiciary let him get away with that shoulder charge.

    • On the cows keen to see Ponga run around.
Taumalolo will get off if the judiciary are consistent , because they are consistently inconsistent.
His arm did look like it was separated but it’s a toss of the coin.

        • to back that up:
          a) Manly’s forward pack is still depleted, where the Cowboys still have some large fellows to battle for the middle of the park, just without Scott and Taumalolo.
          b) Lewis Brown is in the side. Thurston is in their side.
          c) when we have our best team on the field, we have not looked like winning so far. Unless the Green/DCE combo clicks, or we get the luck of the footy gods, i dont feel confident we can get a win here.
          Hope I’m wrong.

  2. Good to see Billy’s name up there. Hope he can perform somewhere near his best and last out the season. Here is rooting for you Bill.

    • Yes, it’s good to see Slater back but how long will he last? I don’t think his shoulder will hold out for long judging on the length of time he has been out of the game and the way he has been nursing it all off season right up until last week.

He deserves to go out a champion with a BANG and not a whimper but look at snake, sometimes fairy tales don’t happen and Billy may not get his scripted finish either. I wish him well though.

  3. It feels AMAZING to be commenting on here again. The season has been a cracker so far. Too bad my boys are 0-2, been very unlucky! With Abbey and Montoya FINALLY playing FG this week, I’m confident of a win. Finally have a specialist fullback who has it all for a fullback and can kick goals and a local junior winger who can find the tryline.

    • I was reading this in the comments section on a Fox Sports article. He stated how you guys had two tough games to begin the season against two possible top 4 teams. Unfortunatly, I believe the Warriors still have you beat this week but idk. Not sure if putting your faith in two debutants is a smart plan.

    • Abbey and Montoya are a good move but the Dogs spine is still the issue. Michael Lichaa is still proving he is no hooker and Reynolds and Mybe are playing out of position. Craig Garvey would be a better option at hooker until the Dogs fond a halves replacement for Reynolds so he can play in his natural position.

The energy and enthusiasm of Reynolds has been the main reason the Dogs have still been in the game for their first two matches. He is a natural football but not a natural 5/8 and cannot take everything on his shoulders. The Dogs forwards are doing their job as always but the Dogs will struggle to find another gear unless their spine is changed.

  4. @andyj I am a brave, possibly crazy person, but you need to take risks when tipping. Last week I was 4/8, need to do better.

  5. Good return to form by dragons last week, sh0nkies by plenty. Drop Nightingale, Lafai and Packer immediately.
