Round 12 of NRL at Superbru played out quite predictably with the average player managing over 6 out of 8 correct tips and the biggest ‘upset’ of the round still being tipped by 45% of players (the Rabbitohs’ win over the Warriors).

This week, we have a reduced round of games as there are just four being played though that won’t necessarily make tipping much easier. There doesn’t look to be a clear banker in any of the four games, here’s what those who have made their tips so far are expecting to see.

Sea Eagles vs. Cowboys

Manly were narrowly defeated by just one point by the Raiders last week to deny them what would have been three wins on the trot. The Sea Eagles are back at home this week as they face a Cowboys side that hasn’t won in four games but have only lost each of their last two against tough opposition by one point. 72% of the crowd have sided with Manly so far but the average overall tip suggests it will be very tight with the home side winning by just three.

Rabbitohs vs. Sharks

Two form sides go head to head at the ANZ Stadium on Friday as the Rabbitohs look for their fifth consecutive win against the Sharks who have won their last six! The teams are level on points in third and fourth place on the league ladder. As it stands, there are 60% of players backing the Rabbitohs to put an end to Sharks’ impressive winning run but the average margin tip is sitting at less than 1.5!

Eels vs. Knights

If you thought those two games were tight, this one is closer still. There is a tiny majority of 52% tipping the Eels to beat the Knights in a game that will see each team looking for their first win since April. If you want an idea of just how close the Superbru crowd expect this game to be, the average margin tip suggests it will be a draw!

Roosters vs. Wests Tigers

The most one-sided game of the round in terms of tips but still by no means a foregone conclusion, 73% are backing the Roosters against the Wests Tigers on Sunday. Each team has won 7 of their 12 games this season and when they met on the opening weekend of the season it was the Tigers that prevailed by two. This time around, the average margin tip suggests the Roosters will get revenge and win by 5.
