The Melbourne Storm have confirmed the induction of three new life members, with Tui Kamikamica, Jahrome Hughes and Doctor Jason Chan all receiving the honour.

Hughes and Kamikamica are current players at the Storm, while Chan has been the club's chief medical officer since 2014.

Chan has been at the club during what has been a successful period, with the Storm often ranking among the best in the competition when it comes to least weeks on the sideline across the season.

The Storm have played finals in everyone of the seasons he has been at the club up until 2026, with Chan now the NRL's longest serving chief medical officer in the game.

He also worked with the Storm during the COVID lockdown periods, where the Storm spent plenty of time isolated in Queensland.

Hughes and Kamikamica need no introduction as long-term players of the club.

Hughes will finish his career as one of the best halfbacks of his generation, having played for the club since 2017.

Winning the Dally M Medal in 2024, Hughes has made 184 appearances for the Storm, and is contracted through to the end of 2030, ensuring he should work his way past 250 games.

During his time with the Storm, Hughes has played ten Tests for New Zealand.

Kamikamica on the other hand debuted with the Storm in 2017 and has been with the club ever since, playing 142 games and being part of the leadership group in Craig Bellamy's side since 2025.

The current captain of Fiji, Kamikamica has spent this year out owing to health issues, but is still aiming to get back on deck for the Rugby League World Cup at the end of the year.
