The Manly Sea Eagles confirmed that twelve players will leave the club after the 2026 season.
Reuben Garrick headlines the list, giving Manly eight years from his club debut in 2019. He rose to become one of the club's mainstay backline players and ranks second in all-time points scored at the club, only behind Graham Eadie.
Garrick will head to the Sydney Roosters on a two-year deal until the end of the 2028 season.
Nathan Brown will also leave the club after joining in 2024. He played his 200th NRL game in Round 26.
Currently, he remains unsigned after revealing this season was his last in the NRL.
He spoke to AAP in August about his future, remaining hopeful to receive a deal to play in the Super League.
"You don't want to be finishing by just clutching at the straws and hanging on by a thread," he said.
"I feel like I can probably still physically play another year in the NRL. But in the mental side of things, I'm just ready."
Siosiua Taukeiaho, Aaron Schoupp, Paul Bryan, Zach Dockar-Clay, Blake Wilson, Fletcher Baker, Zaidas Muagututia, Viliami Fifita and Tex Hoy round out the list.
Muagututia and Wilson were under contract for the 2027 season; however, they have been released 12 months early.
Brandon Wakeham was without a contract at the end of this season; however, reports surfaced in July that he agreed to a two-year extension. No official announcement has been made by the club.
With Taukeiaho on the older side and having broken his leg in two places in May, it remains unlikely he will continue playing rugby league.
The departed players, besides Garrick, remain unsigned and without a club for 2027.
