Ipswich product Jake Turpin has joined the Brisbane Broncos from the Melbourne Storm.

The young hooker played under-20s with the Storm and Intrust Super Cup with the Sunshine Coast Falcons but is hoping to crack the NRL in Brisbane.

“It is definitely warmer than Melbourne,” he said.

“But it has been tough and everything I expected, I am just really happy to be at a great club like the Broncos.

“It is great being back home – mum and dad are only an hour away.”

  1. I wonder if his great great grandfather was called Richard? He probably isn’t on much, if he is it would be highway robbery! πŸ˜‚

  2. He was one of the most talented Ipswich juniors I ever seen play, keen to see how he goes now that he’s back home. Would be likely he will play Q cup for jets and I’m looking forward to watching him play again.

    • Just like Ash Taylor reached HIS true potential when he left the Broncos and signed for the Titans. πŸ˜‚

      • Uhh god your not not working with a full toolbox are you STD
He played one game for the Broncos in fact he lasted what a min
You think he just developed his game the first day of Titans preseason lol
No moron he is the player he is due to his time at the Broncos
Learning under the likes of Bennett Kevy and Alf
That’s why he was so good from the start you don’t get like that from one preseason

        • pay no mind to sstid_1970 mickization, he’s just jealous of the broncos because they’re a much better club than souths.
