Jack de Belin is determined to remain in the NRL for at least one more season as he eyes a late-career push towards the prestigious 300-game milestone.
The 35-year-old forward is off contract at the end of the 2026 season after the Parramatta Eels opted against activating their club option for 2027, leaving him free to explore his options with rival clubs.
Despite his age, De Belin remains keen to continue his career and is hoping to secure another NRL contract rather than make a move to the Super League.
The former Dragon has played 269 NRL games and would need just one more season to reach the 300-game milestone, having featured in 17 matches for the Eels this year.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, De Belin admitted a move to England remains an option, but his preference is to remain in Australia with his young family.

“I could probably go over (to the Super League) if I wanted to, but I've got a young family here, and we're all settled,” de Belin said.
“I don't want to move them, and I feel like I can still match it in the NRL.
“I get I'm not a representative player anymore, but I know I still have plenty to offer.

“The legs still feel young, and I definitely feel up to speed with the NRL, even though it's got crazy fast. I'd love to keep running around and don't want to prematurely retire.”
De Belin last featured for Parramatta in their Round 23 nail-biting loss to South Sydney, before being named among the reserves for Friday night's defeat to the Dolphins.
