Canberra Raiders star second-rower Hudson Young has revealed the PNG Chiefs are the only club in the NRL who have the ability to drag him away from the nation's capital.
Young's name has been in constant headlines in recent weeks, with it emerging he has knocked back two contract offers from the Raiders.
The Green Machine were willing to break records to secure the Origin star who will miss the Rugby League World Cup for Australia with an Achilles injury he is currently recovering from.
The first offer of $1 million per year over three years was knocked back, and so too was a follow up effort of $1.1 million from the Raiders, per reports.
The deal would have been the biggest in Raiders' history for a player many consider to be the next natural captain of the team from the nation's capital.
But with Young knocking the offer from Canberra back, it then emerged that the club were willing to let him tour PNG early in a bid to start working out his future.

Young though told The Sydney Morning Herald that he wants to be comfortable with his decision, and has not yet decided whether he will make the move to the PNG Chiefs.
“It's one of those things, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I just want to make sure that I'm comfortable with the decision I make, and that's the reason why I'm going over there, just to suss it all out," Young told the publication.
“That way, I know if I've made that decision on the back of how I feel, then I'm comfortable with that.
“It's one of those things, I just want to see it for myself first. There's been a lot of media around it and certain players going over there and saying certain things, so I just want to go over there and make the decision myself on what I feel.”
Young confirmed to the publication he has no interest in playing for a club not named the Raiders or Chiefs, but also admitted the fact the Chiefs look to be building a team capable of winning already could sway his decision.
Young, who confirmed the Raiders have offered him a "very healthy" contract, said he will do what's right for himself and his family in the upcoming contract deliberations.
The Chiefs have already managed to sign seven players, and couldn't have approached Young until November 1 without the Raiders' express permission.
The club are also believed to be weighing up a staggering $1.5 million offer for Nathan Cleary as they build towards their first season.
