The first week of this season's NRL finals series promises to be hugely entertaining, with Goliath vs. Goliath clashes in almost every match.

While fans will be eager to watch the league's best sides go head-to-head this weekend, there are a few individual match-ups that demand extra attention.

These are the key match-ups in the finals, Week 1.

Does it get any more poetic than this? After playing alongside each other for years at the Panthers, the “Bash Bros” will face off against each other in the finals for the first time this weekend.

James Fisher-Harris, who is widely regarded as a top-three prop in the game, will be looking to get one up on his former club, despite his side being the underdogs in the clash.

Moses Leota will be hoping to prove he can go toe-to-toe with his former teammate, with the Panthers prop often considered the lesser of the two.

It will be an emotional duel for both men, and it could go either way as they face off this Friday.
