The York Knights have continued their recruitment drive for the 2027 English Super League season, picking up one-time Penrith Panther Zak Hardaker.
Hardaker's career has already been through seven clubs, with the 34-year-old now set to join Cameron McInnes, and likely Blake Lawrie, as 2027 arrivals at the Knights.
The English club are understood to have picked the outside back up on a two-year contract, per Love Rugby League, with Hardaker a three-time Super League winner and two-time Challenge Cup champion.
Hardaker debuted way back in 2010 with the Featherstone Rovers, and has gone on to play 397 professional games, predominantly with the Leeds Rhinos in two stints between 2011 and 2016, and in 2022, for a total of 173 games.
Beyond that, Hardaker is most well known down under for his 11 games on loan with the Penrith Panthers in 2016 where he was part of a switch deal with James Segeyaro who went to Leeds.
Hardaker has also played for the Castleford Tigers, Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos, Leigh Leopards, and most recently Hull FC where he has been since the start of 2025, playing 30 games.
Across his 397 professional games, Hardaker has 150 tries and 353 goals to his name, while he has also played two Tests for Great Britain as part of Wayne Bennett's 2019 side, and another seven Tests for England between 2012 and 2015.
