St George Illawarra Dragons winger Mathew Feagai has lifted the lid on the ongoing drama circling the Castleford Tigers move for a Red V trio heading to England in 2027.
Feagai, Damien Cook and Tyrell Sloan have all inked deals which will see them make the switch to the Northern Hemisphere under former Dragons assistant Ryan Carr.
Carr left the Dragons coaching ranks at the end of last year, and is believed to be a leading reason for the group of players to move to the Tigers.
Since then, the Super League club has stood Carr down, casting a significant amount of doubt on his coaching future at Castleford after reports emerged of an internal investigation leading to his omission in recent weeks.
Feagai has admitted he's heard the noise in the background, but has mainly been allowing his management and teammate Cook to sort out his latest career steps with the Tigers, declaring he's "been talking to him (Cook) more than the club".
The Samoan international spoke with the Tigers' owner this week to iron out any concerns.
"I've actually been letting Damo (Damien Cook) look after everything," Feagai said on Wednesday.
"I think I'm talking to the owner tonight, which would be my first time.
"All of my focus is just enjoying this season as much as I can, and playing good footy."

When asked if it has been difficult to block out the noise, Feagai confessed: "A little bit, yeah".
"It is sort of in the back of my mind. I'm coming in here every day, so that's honestly just been my main focus: being happy and being here."
Uncertainty surrounding Carr's future at the Tigers has Sloan unsettled about his move to the Super League, adding more mystery to the future of the departing trio.
“It definitely puts a big dent in things for me, I'll be honest,” Sloan told the Sydney Morning Herald recently.
“Carry was a big reason why I signed over there.
“Obviously we had a relationship here at the Dragons and I don't really know the situation with him. We've been left in the dark. I'm really excited to go over there if Carry is there, but I just don't know if that's going to be the case there. Hopefully I'll find out soon what's going on and they make a decision.”
It is understood Castleford are closing in on an official announcement on Carr's future soon, and if he is to leave the club, the attention shifts to the Dragons stars and whether they will commit to the move for 2027.
