Chris Sandow hasn't given up hope of playing in the NRL for 2017 with at least three clubs believed to be interested in the enigmatic halfback.

The 27-year-old controversially walked out on the final year of his UK Super League contract with Warrington due to homesickness.

Speaking to Sky Sports radio, Sandow was upbeat about his chances in the NRL.

"I have got a good manager and he’s been working on that, I am leaving it up to him.

"I am going to wait and see and let you guys wait on that I think.

"Fingers crossed, that’s all I can say."

St George Illawarra, Melbourne and Canterbury have all been mentioned as possible suitors for Sandow in 2017, although the Dragons have since ruled out making a play for him.
