Brisbane Broncos have come under fire from supporters after elevating their membership prices for the 2027 season.

It comes following a horror title defence season which saw the Broncos narrowly miss out on the wooden spoon and finish the season with only eight wins after raising the Provan-Summons Trophy in 2025.

Fresh reports from News Corp reveal fans are left frustrated as to why the club has raised prices on next year's membership sales.

Fans have explained to the publication that the annual membership price is going from $250 last year to $395 in 2027.

Another supporter was also left baffled as to why two premium halfway seats at Suncorp Stadium had gone from $1738 in 2025 to $2098 in 2027.

Broncos boss Dave Donaghy vows fans aren't being gouged and provides context to the changes in next year's packages.

“We're getting in touch with members early to help them find the right fit for 2027,” he told News Corp.

“Some prices are changing as discounted offers finish or packages change, but membership remains the best value way to watch the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.

“A new member can get a reserved seat for all 12 home games for under $300, which works out to $25 a game, and that's even lower if you're an existing member.”

The Broncos remain one of the most successful NRL clubs in terms of commercial revenue, and bring in huge crowds every time they run out at Suncorp.

Given that for a long time the Broncos were a one-club city (until the Dolphins' entry in 2023), the club has capitalised on the enormous fan base which makes up the city of Brisbane.

It gives the players who run out each week an extra confidence boost knowing 50,000 fans eagerly await them in the stands.

Even when the club wasn't performing to expectations on the field, the masses still made the trip to Lang Park to support their side.

Interestingly, the club averaged 40,871 in attendance in their premiership title season, with an increase to 41,587 in 2026 despite results not going their way.

The club finished its tough season off on a high with a last-round victory over the Bulldogs in Sydney.
