Parramatta star Corey Norman has been issued a breach notice by the Eels after drinking while injured.

Norman is currently on the sidelines with a foot injury, but Fox Sports can reveal was spotted in pictures on social media drinking, and was handed a $20,000 breach notice for the incident.

The total notice finished at $30,000, following $10,000 from a previous suspended notice adding to the payment.

Norman's latest indiscretion could see him time in Parramatta come to an end, with the Eels now reportedly open to inquiries from other NRL clubs.

The 27-year-old is contracted until the end of the 2019 season, but his days could be numbered.

Norman was suspended for eight matches back in 2016, for drug possession among a number of others matters.

Despite Norman's off-field misdemeanors, NRL clubs are still set to be interested in the playmaker if he does in fact leave the Eels.
