Sydney Roosters forward Zane Tetevano has successfully had his reckless high tackle charge downgraded at the NRL judiciary.
Tetevano entered a guilty plea, however, the club elected to challenge the offence that Tetevano was initially cited for.
Facing a three-match suspension, the Roosters believed there was a case to have the charge downgraded to a careless high tackle in a bid to have Tetevano play in the 2017 finals series.
The new charge holds 150 points, which will see Tetevano miss just one match instead.
Tetevano will be available for selection after this weekend's match against the Brisbane Broncos.
