Canberra Raiders
He may be one of the smallest NRL players, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in effort.
Tom Starling has always been a consistent performer for the 'Green Machine' and underrated for most of his career.
Defensively, he is one of the better hookers in the game but has also greatly improved his running game, finishing the year sixth in the league for dummy half run metres.
Surrounded by walking highlight reels such as Kaeo Weekes and Xavier Savage, Starling is rarely recognised for his impact on the club's success.
Even with an improvement in form, it appears the Raiders still don't fully recognise his impact, offering him a contract extension but still choosing to bring in Jayden Brailey on a two-year deal.

CT is very underrated, the reason Raiders got Brailey was because they thought they might not be able to re-sign Starling as they wanted to re-sign Fogarty and Alamoti is underrated as well.
