Hence, this list is not necessarily looking at bad players, but rather, the players who just aren't as good as the rugby league community makes them out to be.
In a league where reputation can outweigh performance, it is always important to recognise players who might be getting a little more credit than they deserve.
So, here is the most overrated player at each NRL club.
Cronulla Sharks
Unfortunately for Nicho Hynes, the critics are right, he goes missing in big games.
The issue is, against weaker opposition, Hynes looks like the gold standard, the best in the game.
But against formidable opponents, he's usually nullified, and the stats don't lie.
Of his 21 try assists this season, only six came against teams that finished in the top eight.
Comparatively, Braydon Trindall, who plays in the halves with Hynes, registered 10 of 19 try assists against top-eight opposition.
Not to mention, in defence, Hynes made the highest number of ineffective tackles for any half in the game, allowing the opposition to offload 46 times.
If your saying Adam Reynolds is over rated you clearly have no idea what your talking about..

Brown at Newcastle? He hasn’t even played a game there, yet (Apart from which, precious few people rate him as being any good, so it’s hard to call him “over-rated”). I’d nominate KP
Why does it feel like zero tackle is now a far cry from the great website it once was. It’s all click bait and opinions that are crazy. Naming some of the players in this list shows you hardly watch the games and pick stats over everything. Guys like Liam Martin, Fisher-Harris have a presence that can’t be measured. Also some of the picks are straight up wild. Dylan Brown? The bloke who is about to be named Golden boot is over rated? You also mentioned pay a lot, if you were doing that should of said most over paid not over rated. Latrell was another poor choice because he is super talented and has a presence with and without the ball and everyone says he’s average so he’s under rated.
