Mitchell Pearce returns for the Roosters as they look to heap more misery on the Tigers’ 2017 season.

The Tigers are winless in their past four starts with all signs pointing to that number turning to five this weekend. The Roosters scored an impressive 18-16 win over the Broncos last week and will look to enter the bye with a consolidation of their top four spot.

The Tigers, despite boasting the likes of Luke Brooks and James Tedesco, are the least productive side in the competition, and while they have shown glimpses of the new identity that coach Ivan Cleary is trying to create, their old ways appear to be set in stone, for the time being at least.

The Roosters are a polished outfit if they were to need added motivation against a lowly side, a potential top two spot is up for grabs at the end of the round should results fall their way.
