Tyrell Sloan will honour his contract with Castleford Tigers and make the move to the Super League, despite uncertainty surrounding the club following the dramatic mid-season exit of head coach Ryan Carr.
Sloan's move to England is now progressing, with his management team beginning preparations for the fullback's relocation and working through the necessary visa requirements ahead of next season.
The St George Illawarra Dragons outside back originally committed to Castleford when Carr was still in charge, with his previous relationship with the coach playing a significant role in his decision to head overseas.

However, Carr's departure raised questions over whether Sloan would follow through with his commitment, particularly as his performances improved considerably towards the end of the NRL season.
It was understood Sloan's initial preference was to remain in the NRL, leaving the door open to a potential change of plans should an opportunity emerge to continue his career in Australia.
Those discussions gained momentum following a strong finish to the campaign, with Sloan scoring 10 tries in his final 11 appearances of the season.
His late-season resurgence, combined with the uncertainty surrounding Castleford's coaching position, fuelled speculation that he could attract interest from rival NRL clubs or potentially find a way to remain at the Dragons.
However, The Daily Telegraph has now confirmed that Sloan has settled on his future and will make the move to the Tigers, bringing an end to the uncertainty surrounding his next career chapter.
He will be joined at the Super League club by fellow former Dragons teammates Damien Cook and Matt Feagai, with the trio all set to continue their careers in England.

St George Illawarra was unable to retain Sloan's services, while Castleford has ultimately convinced the outside back to honour his agreement despite the significant change in circumstances since he initially signed.
The move will give Sloan an opportunity to continue developing his career overseas after showing glimpses of his potential during the closing stages of the NRL season.
