The Trbojevic brothers are no more – at least for a little while – after Tom went down last weekend with an ankle injury in their loss against Brisbane.

The Titans, meanwhile, stunned the NRL world with a thrilling come-from-behind win over the ladder-leading Storm, with Konrad Hurrell and Anthony Don the stars in the victory.

This Titans side has shown plenty of fight and heart this season despite their long injury list, and it’s a trait that’ll make their fans proud.

They’ll have their work cut out for them against Daly Cherry-Evans and co this week, however, they do enter the match as favourites.

Matthew Wright replaces the younger Trbojevic in the number one jersey while Karl Lawton and Nathaniel Peteru return on the bench for the Titans.

This has all the makings of an offensive showcase with the league’s first and third most prolific offences on show on Saturday night.

The Titans took out their last contest with a 30-10 score line, and we can see them making it two on the trot against the Sea Eagles.

  1. This game just shows how terrible Elgey really is, he’s garbage the Titans took too much of a risk with him, Hayne needs to go back to fullback and Roberts to the halves, the only way the Titans are going win

  2. Absolutely filthy tonight. Piss poor performance from the Titans, we seemed worse than the warrior bros, great one week then terrible the next. We looked very tired and only Don, Boyle and Lawton showed any heart. Poor defensive reads and couldn’t even complete our sets. We had more than enough possession to win the game and Manly were vulnerable with Walker on one leg and Taufua out with concussion. But nope we all stood there scratching our heads. Manly should’ve put 50 on us.

Hope Henry gives them a spray because if we ever play like this again you may as well kiss our season good bye.

Hayne in the centres and Roberts at fullback does not work. Elgey made poor attacking choices and couldn’t even kick a ball out. Elgey to the reserves, Copley can join him. Hayne to fullback, Roberts to the halves. Problem Solved.

    • In don’t think it was filth.. Nice game from the Titans.. Manly played well to beat them.. Hayne is finding it tough, but the rest looked good. Easier game might have been better.

  3. Walker is a must for origin, towled up the Hayne plane tonight who should be playing fullback, nsw will get smashed with him in the centres. And how good is Api going. And dce is the next best half for QLD showed it tonight.

  4. Very gutsy win tonight by manly, they showed they are too 8 for sure, maybe 1 more too front rower short this year, but lussick might change that soon hopefully… although wouldn’t swap brenton Lawrence for many, how hard he tries each week… taupau AFB and jake have been unreal this year. Walker should be in origin but won’t be, he has been the best centre this year by a loooooong way but they’ll stick with Dugan, Hayne, Ferguson and co who continually show they can’t win a series

  5. I thought that was a terrific performance from Manly tonight. Played with heart and smarts.

They’ll probably blood him from the bench but I would have Jake T as my starting lock in origin. His defence around the ruck is impeccable.
