It is decider day!
Tonight the Blues and Maroons will go at it in front of a sold out Accor Stadium with the 2025 Origin series on the line.
It doesn't get any better than this!
Grand final day aside, perhaps, this is the biggest arena our game has to offer.
Unfortunately not all deciders live up to the billing. We're not here to discuss those today.
Instead we are here to look at the thrillers, the biggest moments, the best deciders.
Here are the five best Origin deciders of the past 20 years.
2. 2012 - QLD def NSW 21-20
Truthfully I didn't remember much of this game. The first 74 minutes or so in fact.
Then it happened. Cooper Cronk's 40 metre-plus field goal. The best field goal in the history of rugby league. Seriously, name a bigger drop goal struck any better.
Thurston's 2015 grand final winner was arguably as close as you'll ever get but it was much closer.
The game prior (after watching highlights) was a ripper. The Blues opened the scoring, the Maroons crossed for three in a row and looked set for victory.
This time it was the Blues who returned serve and Josh Morris's 69th minute try set up a thrilling finish.
Cooper Cronk's 75th minute field goal was a big a play as you'll ever see. The commentary literally went to call a bomb but Cronk would have none of it. He slotted the perfect field goal.
Mitchell Pearce would try and return serve with the Blues final play of the series but it would go wide.
The way the Blues, including Paul Gallen, fell to the floor in front of the 52,000+ QLD'ers, will stick in my mind forever.
This is arguably the greatest finish in Origin history. It was arguably the greatest game in Origin history.
It was undoubtedly the biggest play in Origin history.
