It is decider day!

Tonight the Blues and Maroons will go at it in front of a sold out Accor Stadium with the 2025 Origin series on the line.

It doesn't get any better than this!

Grand final day aside, perhaps, this is the biggest arena our game has to offer.

Unfortunately not all deciders live up to the billing. We're not here to discuss those today.

Instead we are here to look at the thrillers, the biggest moments, the best deciders.

Here are the five best Origin deciders of the past 20 years.

4. 2005 - NSW def QLD 32-10

If the above took into account a bit of bias, this one absolutely does.

The 2005 decider was the most I have enjoyed a Game 3. Dare I say it is the most I've ever enjoyed an Origin game full stop.

In terms of a contest, well this wasn't much of one. The Blues dominated from start to almost finish. Braith Anasta would open the scoring in the 20th minute and the Blues would go on to score five further tries.

The Maroons would score two late tries but the 32 points to 10 score-line felt more like 50-0 such was the Blues total and utter destruction.

So why is it on this list then?

Andrew Johns!

The future Immortal would put in one of the all time great Origin performances. He would officially be awarded three try assist but it felt like he had a hand in many more.

The highlights from this game are played almost non stop, almost exclusively south of the Tweed.

Ok the contest was a horrible one but in terms of pure occasion, this was everything that State of Origin is about. Wow!
