Brisbaneย Broncos v Sydney Roosters
Brisbane's loss to the struggling Bulldogs was made worse thanks to a hamstring injury to centre James Roberts. NRL hopeful Benji Marshall suffered a wrist injury in the reserves with a timeframe on his injury yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Sydney's Dylan Napa's suffered an ankle injury in their first loss of the season and will miss a month of football while Kane Evans looks likely to return from a calf injury.
Newcastle Knights v Canterbury Bulldogs
Sione Mata'utia was one of the Knights' best in their heart-breaking loss to the Sharks last weekend before he suffered a concussion and was ruled out for the remainder of the game. He'll have to pass all the required tests if he is to see the field this weekend while teammate Nathan Ross will return from a calf strain. Jacob Saifiti should also return from concussion.
Moses Mbye returns for the Bulldogs following a two-week layoff from suspension however which position he will play is yet to be determined following a strong debut from Matt Frawley.
Penrith Panthers v South Sydney Rabbitohs
Penrith will have to search for consistency without star centre Tyrone Peachey after he suffered a broken rib on the weekend. Peta Hiku will replace him at centre while James Fisher-Harris should return with Bryce Cartwright "close" to returning from an ankle injury.
Robbie Farah will sit out due to a back complaint with Damien Cook set to take the play-making reigns for Souths. George Burgess will return from suspension.
Manly Sea Eagles v St George Illawarra Dragons
Apisai Korioisau will be good to go for Manly after it appeared he suffered a serious shoulder injury while Darcy Lussick could return for the Sea Eagles.
Josh Dugan will miss time due to his well-publicised hamstring injury with Matt Duffy in line for a recall. Kurt Mann, Jai Field and Jason Nightingale are also contenders to fill that void, while Euan Aitken will return from a hamstring injury of his own.
Gold Coast Titans v Canberra Raiders
The Titans depth will be tested once more with Tyrone Roberts and Ryan Simpkins both in serious doubt with knee and back injuries respectively. Tyler Cornish could fill the void at fullback if he returns, while Nathan Peats could also provide some welcome relief if he returns from a shoulder injury.
For Canberra, experienced second-rower Elliot Whitehead returns from suspension.
North Queensland Cowboys v Wests Tigers
The Cowboys can breathe a sigh of relief with trio Coen Hess, Michael Morgan and Lachlan Coote all cleared to play.
The Tigers have no injury concerns from the weekend with Luke Brooks a chance to return although it appears unlikely.
New Zealand Warriors v Parramatta Eels
The Warriors scored a win in Keiran Foran's debut, however, Bodene Thompson's leg injury will be of concern. He remains in doubt while Bunty Afoa will return to the lineup.
Tepai Moeroa was a late withdrawal due to back soreness and will need to prove his fitness this week.
Melbourne Storm v Cronulla Sharks
Neither Jordan McLean or Christian Welch proved their fitness last week and both will be up for the fight again this week. The Storm have said they will take no chances with McLean's calf while Welch suffered a concussion two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the Sharks look to head into the grand final rematch with an unchanged 17.
