Brisbane Broncos v Parramatta Eels

The Broncos are set to be without Tevita Pangai Jnr this Thursday night after injuring his hamstring last week. Jaydn Su'a is likely to take his place on the bench should Jai Arrow not overcome an elbow injury.

The Eels won't risk Bevan French which means Will Smith will start at fullback. French injured his hamstring last week with Brad Arthur not willing to risk French with finals football approaching.

“I’ll be guided by what our medical department say but we don’t want to put Bevan at risk,” Brad Arthur said. “The thing is we have to show a bit of belief and confidence in Will that he can get the job done.

“He did a good job (on Thursday) and we’ll give him more time during the week to work on a few areas in his game. But if Bevan’s not right we won’t play him.”

Manu Ma'u is out through suspension meaning Frank Pritchard is a chance to return.

Canberra Raiders v Newcastle Knights

Their final chances hang by a thread with Manly's loss giving them hope as the Raiders enter their clash with the confident Knights unchanged.

Brock Lamb's season is over after suffering an MCL injury on the weekend, while Luke Yates (syndesmosis) will join him on the sidelines. Jack Cogger and Jaelen Feeney are in line to take Lamb's halves jersey, while Mickey Paea is set to come into the side for Yates.

Wests Tigers v North Queensland Cowboys

Lachlan Coote is set to return for the Cowboys for Kalyn Ponga while Antonio Winterstein will also return in place on Javed Bowen. Gavin Cooper is also considered a chance to play.

Gold Coast Titans v Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

Following Neil Henry's sacking, Jarryd Hayne is set to return, along with Jarrod Wallace (knee). Phillip Sami will retain his place in the side with John Olive out with an elbow injury.

Josh Reynolds is a 50/50 chance to place with his calf still troubling the half while Sam Kasiano is expected to return following a sternum injury.

Melbourne Storm v South Sydney Rabbitohs

Cooper Cronk and Tim Glasby will return for the Storm after they were rested during last week's trip to Newcastle.

Try-scoring machine Alex Johnston is in doubt with hamstring troubles with Cody Walker in line for a shift to fullback should Johnston miss out. Sam Burgess is expected to return from injury, however, will be monitored throughout the week.

Cronulla Sharks v Sydney Roosters

Jack Bird will remain out with a shoulder injury with no changes expected for the Sharks, while the Roosters are also set to go in with the same 17 as the top four battle heats up.

New Zealand Warriors v Manly Sea Eagles

Ben Matulino returns from suspension.

Penrith Panthers v St George Illawarra Dragons
