South Sydney Rabbitohs v Gold Coast Titans

The Rabbitohs put in a spirited performance against the Broncos on the weekend and are expected to go in with the same line up against the other south Queensland side.

The Titans, meanwhile, welcome back Kevin Proctor from suspension with Jarryd Hayne and Nathan Peats out due to Origin commitments. Will Zillman is the early favourite to replace Hayne in the number one jersey.

Jarryd Wallace will miss the game either through Queensland duty or suspension as Konrad Hurrell and Kane Elgey nursing injuries, however, are both expected to play.

Melbourne Storm v North Queensland Cowboys

Once a star-studded field, this matchup will be missing a host of big names through injury as suspension.

Cameron Smith, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk, Will Chambers, Tim Glasby (Origin), Cheyse Blair (ankle) and Jordan McLean (cheekbone) are all out of the Storm side with Cameron Munster set to return to his 2016 position of fullback as Brodie Croft is set to slot into the halves alongside Ryley Jacks.

Brandon Smith will return to the bench for his second NRL game while Slade Griffin is expected to start in the number nine jersey. Curtis Scott is also a chance in the centres, with the Storm's young gun contingent all expected to be put on show this weekend.

It has also been reported that Nate Myles is expected to sign with the Storm, and could be included in the squad if that signing is announced today.

For the Cowboys, Johnathan Thurston, Michael Morgan, Gavin Cooper and Coen Hess are out due to Queensland selection with Ray Thompson to slide into the halves.

Corey Jenson and Blake Leary are both set to come into the side, while Ben Hampton and John Asiata are the front runners for the second spot in the halves.

Cronulla Sharks v Wests Tigers

The New South Wales band of James Maloney, Andrew Fifita, Jack Bird and Wade Graham will miss Saturday night's clash while Valentine Holmes has earned a well-deserved call-up to the Maroons squad for next week.

Veteran Chris Heighington will start at prop, while Gerard Beale will shift to fullback. Fa'amanu Brown will replace Maloney in the halves with Edrick Lee and Kurt Capewell in line for spots at the back.

Luke Brooks returns for the Tigers with Tuimoala to slot into fullback as James Tedesco joins Aaron Woods on Origin duty.

Parramatta Eels v St George Illawarra Dragons

Once again, Parramatta has no Origin representatives and are expected to go in unchanged. Michael Jennings remains a week or two away.

Tyson Frizell and Josh Dugan have been named for NSW with Tariq Sims and Jason Nightingale set to be their replacements.
