He also played in the Under-15s ASSRL National Championships and played in the Sydney Metro Competition for the Maroubra Lions.

John Morris confirmed he left the Wests Tigers after being an assistant coach under Benji Marshall.

The 46-year-old spent the past three seasons at the club, with his coaching future up in the air, as the former multi-club half wants to prioritise spending time with his family.

Cruz is a fullback who won the University Shield with Endeavour Sports High.

Morris will play for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the upcoming Harold Matthews season as he climbs up the club's pathway ranks.
