Sydney Roosters player Shaun Kenny-Dowall has been charged with drug possession after he was allegedly caught with half a gram of cocaine at a Sydney nightclub.
Police have confirmed a 29-year-old man was searched at the Ivy nightclub on George Street about 1am Friday, and officers allegedly found small plastic bag carrying almost half a gram of cocaine.
“During that search they allegedly located a small resealable bag containing 0.46 grams of cocaine,” a police spokeswoman said.
Kenny-Dowall is off contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to the Newcastle Knights.
