South Sydney Rabbitohs v Gold Coast Titans

Friday Night, ANZ Stadium

South Sydney will look to get back on the winner's list and keep their finals hopes alive with a win against an Origin-hit Gold Coast side on Friday night.

Souths were gallant in defeat last week against the Broncos but lacked the firepower to seriously trouble Wayne Bennett's side.

They'll go into this clash with an unchanged lineup and start as heavy favourites with the Titans missing Jarryd Hayne and Nathan Peats to Origin duty.

To make matters worse for the Titans is that Jarrod Wallace is also out due to Queensland commitments while backup hooker Karl Lawton is out through injury along with Tyrone Roberts and Kane Elgey.

They still have Ash Taylor in the halves, paired with Chris McQueen in a little bit of a surprise, with Will Zillman slotting in at fullback at Pat Politoni in the number 9 jersey.

A bit of a makeshift side could cause headaches for the Rabbitohs, as we know the Titans will throw all they have as they also look to keep their season alive.

However, the experience of John Sutton, Adam Reynolds and the Burgess brothers should be enough for Souths to get the chocolates.

Souths by 10.
