Preview

The Roosters will be out to avenge last week’s massive loss to the Sharks when they host rivals South Sydney on Friday night.

The Rabbitohs have won their past two matches to stay in touch with the top eight, but their record against the top sides doesn’t read well for this weekend.

South Sydney are just 1-7 against top eight sides this season and will be out to rectify their poor performances against the good teams.

Blake Ferguson, Dylan Napa, Mitchell Pearce and Boyd Cordner are all out for the Roosters with Origin duty, as Sydney make a host of changes in their 17. The Bunnies are unchanged.

Sydney won the reverse fixture back in round four this season 20-6, although South Sydney may just have enough to square up the ledger.

Rabbitohs by 6.

  1. although the rabbits wont be involved in this years semis i can see them beating a depleted chooks

  2. the chooks chose to re sign ferguson ahead of mitchell now leaving mitchell unsigned and told to look elsewhere

  3. Maybe from 2020 onwards. LR signed a 4 year deal a couple seasons back so don’t know here your getting your “unsigned” info from!
