More than four months removed from November 1, there are still 136 NRL currently Top 30 contracted NRL players without a club to call home for 2027.
The Perth Bears still have more than half of their inaugural Top 30 to fill, and most clubs are in need of players, whether re-signed or otherwise, to complete their look and feel for 2027.
When you run the rule over the list of players who remain off-contract at the end of 2026, there is still a mountain of talent available.
Taking into account the likely value to a rival club - age, talent and potential included (for example, Cody Walker has been left out as he approaches the end of his career) - here are the Top 20 players to remain without a contract for 2027.

Siua Wong was originally named in this list, however, it has since emerged he has re-signed with the Roosters during the off-season.
18. Trai Fuller (The Dolphins)
Reports have somewhat surprisingly emerged this week that Dolphins back-up fullback Trai Fuller could find himself heading to the English Super League from the start of 2026.
Without a shadow of a doubt, that would be something of a major surprise.
Fuller might be 28 years of age, but after being limited to the QLD Cup for much of his professional career, his opportunities at NRL level in both 2024 and 2025 have left fans wanting more.
The writing is on the wall for him at the Dolphins though. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow being given the fullback jumper in the first two rounds this year means he needs to find a new home if he wants to play in the top grade each week.
If he doesn't move to England - and it's believed at least two other NRL clubs are interested in him - then he will find a way to set the competition on fire.
He has proven he can do that with his limited scope and opportunities for the Redcliffe-based club.
Get him into first-grade on a weekly basis, and he might just show the competition what has been missing for a number of years.
There would be far sillier things to do this free agency window for a number of clubs than take a punt on the Monto-born entertainer.

Some interesting reading there, particularly in the way you have rated them.
I wouldn’t have expected Purdue to be #1, or Taulagi at #4
To me it’s all about potential upside… What does a player provide over the terms of their next deal. Can’t see too many doing more than Purdue on this list.
