Preview

While these two traditional rivals aren’t fighting for position in the top eight, you can rest assured that neither of these sides will go down without a fight.

Souths pulled off an impressive comeback last week to down the Dragons in the dying minutes as they snapped a monthlong losing streak while the Bulldogs will be looking to avoid that exact feat with a win over their old rivals.

Despite their offensive struggles in 2017, they have managed to find the try line more often than not against the Bunnies, scoring 22+ points in nine of their last 10 wins against the Redfern club. Josh Reynolds will also be wanting to get the wood over their old rivals one last time before leaving the club at seasons end.

The Bunnies welcome back Aaron Gray as they look to continue their offensive creativity from last week in a bid to drop the Bulldogs even further down the NRL ladder.

Canterbury has conceded more tries from kicks (22) than any other side in 2017 so expect Cody Walker and Adam Reynolds to test out the Bulldogs’ aerial defence more often than not on Thursday night.

The inconsistency of the Rabbitohs makes this a tough game to predict however if they can execute anywhere near the level they did last week, the Dogs will have a tough time of it.

Souths by 4.
