NRL finals Week 1: Predicted team lists

The eight teams set to play finals football in 2025 have been confirmed, with the knockout rounds to kick off next weekend. Injuries, suspensions, and returning players mean there will be plenty of changes across the competition. Read on and use the drop-down menu below to take a look at each side's predicted finals Week 1 team list. RELATED: FINALS SCHEDULE CONFIRMED Canberra Raiders The Raiders come into the finals as minor premiers and close enough to full strength. The only player missing is Xavier Savage, who is out for the remainder of the campaign, injured. Ricky Stuart's side otherwise picks itself, with his son Jed Stuart to line up on the vacant wing. All the rested players from Sunday's trip to play the Dolphins will be back, with Kaeo Weekes, Ethan Strange, Jamal Fogarty and Tom Starling to line up in the spine. Josh Papalii, Joseph Tapine and Corey Horsburgh will continue in the middle third, with Hudson Young and Zac Hosking on the edges. Noah Martin Melbourne Storm The Storm have been rocked by injuries in the final week of the regular season, with Ryan Papenhuyzen and Jahrome Hughes headlining the list of players who will be missing. Sua Fa'alogo and Jonah Pezet will both come into the side after being withdrawn from reserve grade over the weekend, but in what role remains to be seen. Based on previous instances, it could well be Nick Meaney at fullback and Tyran Wishart at fullback, with Fa'alogo slotting into the centres and Pezet on the bench. Nelson Asofa-Solomona will also be missing for the Storm through suspension, while Jack Howarth is a chance at returning alongside hooker Harry Grant, who was suspended for the final two weeks of the regular season. Given Enari Tuala was already in the side last week, Jethro Rinakama is a guarantee to come in, while Blake Wilson could also find himself on the wing. The Broncos have been absolutely flying without him, so it certainly is going to be one that needs to be weighed up. Assuming he will, Ben Hunt will move to five-eighth, and Billy Walters back into the five-eighth rotation. Gehamat Shibasaki is also going to be fighting for a recall after being dropped for a breach of team standards last weekend, while Xavier Willison, Jack Gosiewski, Selwyn Cobbo and Ezra Mam remain sidelined with injuries. 1. An early guilty plea or lost challenge means he is out of the game against the Roosters, with Daniel Atkinson likely the man on standby. The Sharks have no other new concerns, although Cameron McInnes remains out with an ACL injury sustained a few weeks ago, and Briton Nikora will return from suspension for the knockout clash, to be played on Saturday evening. 1. Siua Wong could also be in contention to start in the second row ahead of Victor Radley, who would shuffle to lock, with Naufahu Whyte potentially shifting to prop and Spencer Leniu coming from the bench.
