The Sydney Roosters have announced that Mitch Cornish has signed a one-year extension, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2018 season.

“I’m really enjoying being part of the team here at the Roosters,” said Cornish.

“The Roosters have been great to me, and I’m learning so much – and that’s a big part of the reason I’m really pleased to extend my time with the Club,” he added.

Roosters Head Coach, Trent Robinson, was delighted to have Cornish extend his time with the Club.

“Mitch has been a terrific contributor to the Roosters since joining the Club this year, and his best footy is still ahead of him,” said Robinson.

“It’s great news to have Mitch on board for 2018 and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him,” he added.
