The Melbourne Storm have confirmed the signing of Australian and Queensland forward Nate Myles for the remainder of the 2017 season.
Myles joins Storm from Manly, and will add depth to the Clubโs forward stocks after the loss of Christian Welch to a season ending knee injury.
The 31-year old has played 231 NRL games and as played an outstanding 32 games for Queensland.
Mylesโ toughness and work ethic are traits Storm coach Craig Bellamy highly regards and he will add invaluable experience to Stormโs young forwards coming through.
On his signing with Storm Myles said, โIโm ecstatic to be able to join Melbourne Storm for the remainder of the season. When an opportunity presented itself to link up with the Storm, it was something I felt would really benefit my football and playing strengths.
โIโm really looking forward to getting stuck into training and improving, meeting my new teammates and returning to the field as soon as possible.โ
Currently sidelined with an elbow injury sustained in the first Origin game, Myles will start at the Club immediately and commence training.
