Warriors centre Gerard Beale is set to be sidelined for up to nine months after undergoing knee surgery on Monday.
The club announced the news via its official website after he suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to the Roosters.
The 29-year old fractured his patella after a collision with Sydney's Jared Waerea-Hargreaves eight minutes into the contest.
Beale posted the following message to his Instagram account post-surgery: “Thank you for all the messages over the past couple of days. Sucks that my 2k19 season is over. Looking forward to the comeback, doc says it’s stronger now lesss go!”
He is expected to return in May next year.
