The Gold Coast has emerged as a potential home for Dale Copley should he be forced out of the Sydney Roosters.
It is understood the tricolours are trying to ease salary cap pressures now that out-of-favour half Jackson Hastings appears likely to see out the last year of his contract.
The flow-on effect from that means centre Copley, who only joined the Roosters at the start of the 2016 season, is being shopped around for an early release from his deal.
