1. Well done Kumuls. Great tournament. England despite the score line where less than impressive with a 56% completion rate and 20 errors against a tier 2 nation. Sounds like a well coached team to me. Let’s face it, those stats against Australia or Tonga and England lose by 30 points! Widdop at FB was a plus but Brown and Gale as a halves pairing were a train wreck as expected. George Williams and Josh Hodgson would be far more effective and with Roby at dummy half England might finally have put the missing pieces together. Granted Hodgson should be playing at dummy half but given the current halves there is little choice and even the commentators agreed that Hodgson looked better than either Gale or Brown in the halves.

    Also, how on earth does Brown get knocked out cold and stay on the field when the Kumuls lose Mead in the opening minute of the game to HIA?
