Newcastle has confirmed coach Nathan Brown will now depart the Knights effective immediately.
The Knights lost to the Tigers 46-4 on the weekend, and have now ousted Brown after originally allowing him to coach out the season.
Newcastle released the statement below on their website.
The nib Newcastle Knights can confirm coach Nathan Brown has departed the Club effective immediately.
This decision has been made in conjunction with Brown in the best interest of the Club.
Kristian Woolf will take over as interim coach for the remainder of the 2019 season.

Iv heard a rumour that the dragons are looking to bring him back, i wouldn’t want that dud anywhere near my team.
I agree he had his shot and blew it and we don’t want any more former players coaching us. This would be a total joke if they chase Brown. Brown, Barret and McGregor should never be allowed to coach again.
