The New Zealand Warriors have confirmed six player departures, after they celebrated their annual awards night on Sunday.

The Warriors will lose Simon Mannering to retirement, after the Warriors legend made his 300th NRL appearance during their Round 25 win over the Raiders on Friday night.

Ata Hingano and Albert Vete have already moved clubs, with Hingano joining Canberra and Vete now plying his trade at the Storm after mid-season switches.

Anthony Gelling has signed for Widnes in the Super League, and will head back to England after one year in New Zealand.

Manaia Cherrington and Zac Santo will also depart the Warriors at season's end, after not being offered a contract for the 2019 season.

The Warriors travel to Sydney to face Penrith in an Elimination Final on Saturday night.
