The Parramatta Eels have confirmed that forward Tony Williams has suffered a season-ending knee injury following yesterday's victory against the Wests Tigers.
Scans today have confirmed that Williams has suffered a rupture of his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) on his right knee.
Williams had only recently returned to the field after recovering from an ACL injury to his left knee suffered last season while playing for Tonga.
Williams will now consult with the Eels medical staff over the next few days and then begin his recovery and rehabilitation.
