The NRL's "silly season" is nearing full swing.
In just over two months, every player off-contract at the end of 2026 will be able to negotiate with rival clubs.
The ever-changing landscape of NRL contracts, with players signing with rivals or negotiating with them, means that we could well see players changing clubs in November for 2027, despite a full season still to run on their current deals.
That is simply the nature of the beast.
We have run the rule over where every club stands ahead of November 1, their current 2027 squads, the players they need to lock up, and the players who are likely to hit the open market.
With the Perth Bears to enter the competition as well, hitting the open market with a blank cheque book and 30 spots to fill, it's going to be the biggest free agency scramble since the arrival of the Dolphins.
Here is the rundown for your club's needs over the next ten weeks.
You can use the drop-down menu to navigate by club.

What needs doing
The Titans have the option for a full rebuild ahead of 2027, should they choose to do so, with only a handful of players contracted.
Under a new coach, that seems a fair chance of happening too, given the playing roster's struggles to string together results this year.
The bottom of the table outfit is just about set into next year, although they will likely want to see Tony Francis and Carter Gordon, who has been unlucky with injury this year, sign on shortly.
The lead-up to November 1 is going to be intriguing for the Titans, with Tino Fa'asuamaleaui likely to test the open market, Beau Fermor no guarantee to re-sign, and David Fifita seemingly all but out the door.
Exactly what they do with their spine in the long term is one to watch as well.
Jayden Campbell has tried his hand in the halves this year, but there is no doubt the Gold Coast need a new first-choice halfback.
Whether he departs at the end of 2026 remains to be seen, and, despite his talent, it could actually be the right long-term move for the club.
Elsewhere, Phillip Sami has expressed an interest in Perth if he can't get a new deal done with the Gold Coast, and Alofiana Khan-Pereira will be surprised if he is still at the club in Round 1 next year.
Maybe the critical re-signings are hooker Sam Verrills, prop Moeaki Fotuaika, and bench forward Jaimin Jolliffe. All three have done a solid job for the Titans, and could get the ball rolling prior to November 1.
It's a tricky beast for the Titans, though. They have no idea what they are building around or where their salary cap stands until decisions are made by Tino, Fermor, and Fifita.

Sharks also have the (perennially injured) Kade Dykes off contract at the end of 2025
