The Dolphins will be entering their 2026 preseason with a few cuts and bruises for couple of their leading men, following some brutal international showings at the Pacific Championships.

Star veterans Jeremy Marshall-King and Francis Molo have both picked up minor injuries while representing their nations in the Pacific Championships.

Marshall-King suffered a broken thumb while playing for New Zealand in the opening match of the series, however, the Kiwis still managed an impressive showing in his absence.

Molo, on the other hand, managed a few more international clashes in 2025, before fracturing his eye socket in his final appearance for Samoa.

Despite the injuries, the club has received positive news, with both players on track to return to training well before the start of the new season.

Their recovery will be a welcome boost for the Dolphins, who view the experienced pair as key figures in their forward pack and spine heading into 2026.
