INJURY NEWS: Ponga’s game three Origin status revealed

Knights fullback Kalyn Ponga has been ruled out of game three of the State of Origin series after the youngster suffered a lateral hamstring strain.

The 20-year old sustained the injury during his side's 20-point loss to the Bulldogs on Saturday night, and will miss 3-4 weeks.

In other news, hooker Slade Griffin will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his ACL graft, lateral ligament and tearing his lateral meniscus. He will undergo an ACL reconstruction in the coming weeks.
