There is interest in New Zealand Warrior Anthony Gelling, who could make a return to the Super League next season, according to wigantoday.net.

The Catalans Dragons are one of the clubs interested in the 27-year-old, with Dragons chief executive Christophe Jouffret confirming their interest.

Jouffret spoke on how they remain interested and are keeping taps on Gelling, who left Wigan in order to return home to New Zealand. He then signed a one year contract with the NZ Warriors.

"Yes he is a player that we follow and with whom we discuss but it is not only him," Jouffret told the Treize Mondial website.

"We are in the period when the negotiations are growing and we still have 15 players at the of the contract."
