The Gold Coast Titans look set to launch a serious assault on the Auckland Nines title with star fullback Jarryd Hayne to spearhead their campaign in the rich pre-season tournament.

Hayne will be announced as an ambassador for the Nines which is set to be a star-studded event next year with internationals Shaun Johnson and Johnathan Thurston already confirming their attendance.

Hayne is at his attacking best in broken play and with a full pre-season under his belt and space on the field, he is likely to be one of the event’s biggest attractions.
