Easy Brissy dragon… I’m as ticked as you and the eels got the rub of the green but it was a poor start to the second half that cost us. I’m not sure the sin bin was warranted but losing frizz and Norman didn’t help. My hate is nary insisting to the play ravalawa over field. Carry field off the bench please !!!! He can play anywhere in the backline. He needs to play or he’ll be lost elsewhere
How did Parra get the rub of the green pearl?
I didn’t see any penalties that weren’t warranted.
Yes the sin bin was the wrong decision but the game was over by them anyway.
Dragons were just lucky Parra got off to a slow start otherwise it would have been a score like they racked up against the Tigers a couple of weeks ago.

Just thought that parra got penalties that the dragons didn’t for same infringement. Eg…offside from the kickoff. 2 players were offside after dragons second half try…not called. But that’s footy… you’ll never get true consistency. No excuses my end though. Eels are a good side. But they.. like the dragons…. need consistency themselves. Other than the sin binning of Pereira which was ridiculous I was ok with the reffing. Frizzel going off early 2nd half hurt us and at 18 all we were still a big chance before Norman gets his face caved in by Sivo.
That was the killer blow right there and we struggled the last 25 and Parra went up another gear.
Couple of poor moments from McInnes hurt us too but he puts in 100% every week so let’s not hang him by his knackers. If Norman stays on we may have just got home

Maybe Norman injury a blessing in disguise ? Field needs a shot and not just 5 minutes at the end of a game. I hope he plays to potential and then is kept on in some capacity when Norman is back. Wasn’t upset at the loss, because I told my wife on Monday we’d get smashed. Firstly Parra were ridiculed for last week’s effort and were going to be a much better side at home. Sure it wasn’t like last years disgrace but our record against Parra is pathetic even more so at their home ground. Yes we lost Norman and Frizzel, but yet again our second half is killing us. That’s 3 games we lead at half time and looked the better team we’ve been smashed in the second half. Even the useless Warriors will have a chance next weekend. 2019 will be a real struggle with our weak backline.

Firstly, well said Redv13, on both your above comments, and I think you summed it up pretty well.
Daffy, if it’s any concelation I thought it was going to be a pretty tough/even game going in, and for the most part that’s about how it played out. It’s hard for any side to lose players as core as Norman and Frizzel during a game.
If the situation was reversed, and we lost Moses and a big forward, I wouldn’t have been too disappointed if the score line was reversed.
P.S, I still like/rate Norman as much as I always have, but for us he and Moses just couldn’t form a combo, but he’s looking like he’s fitting in well at Dragons.
Well Norman and Moses certainly formed a great combination in 2017 when they made the top four. The next year Norman got mixed up with those gangsters and was obviously throwing games🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱
Yeah, that’s a fair point re Norman and Moses’s combo through the second half of 2017, and hence why it was such a disappointment that they didn’t/couldn’t make it work through 2018, or at least certainly not as well.
That said, it certainly wasn’t just Norman and Moses that disappointed last year.
Obviously Norman has had some issues off field, and can get a bit “disinterested” at times on field, but I don’t think he has, or would, throw games.
Ben Hunt should have been able to take control even with Norman of the field. Of course if we dropped Ravalawa and had Field on the bench we’d do much better. Dragons have to man up under adversity. Look how a half strength Cronulla team stuck tough against the Storm. Put it this way if it were Parra up 14-0, you would have put 50 on us.
