Another season, another Tino Fa'asuamaleaui contract clause activated.

I joke, but also not really...

The number of times we've seen Tino (and David Fifita) allowed to talk to other clubs over the years is laughable.

Well, here we go again!

It's looking less likely though that the Titans captain is using this as an opportunity to bump up his current deal with the Titans.

If you ask me, he's done. Probably not a bad thing considering the state of the Titans, but a massive potential loss.

Tino Fa'asuamaleaui is a player you could name 16 teams below. 17 with the Bears coming up. PNG would want him also.

Naming five genuine landing spots, considering his stature, value and career prospects though is still fairly straightforward.

Hewre are the five best landing spots for Tino Fa'asuamaleaui.

5. Melbourne Storm

Big Tino, back where it all began. Can't you just see it?

Fa'asuamaleaui has spent five seasons at the Titans. During that time he has banked plenty of cash.

You'd not hold it against the QLD and Kangaroo regular if he wanted to chase another Premiership to go with the one he won at Melbourne in 2020.

He left as an interchange player and may return as one of the premier forwards in the game.

The Storm lack a genuine pack leader. Nelson Asofa-Solomona's contract ends at the end of 2027, I can see them wriggling out a year early.

Money is always going to be tight at the Storm with names such as Papenhuyzen, Grant, Munster and Hughes on the books, but players aren't scared to take "unders" to play in purple.

The romance here is more fun than Tino is likely to return to Melbourne, but the allure of winning and playing beside the four aforementioned superstars... it's very real.
