Preview

The Broncos return to Suncorp Stadium on Friday night on the back of two straight losses as they sit in the midst of an annual Origin-season struggle.

Last week’s loss against the Roosters was a nail-biter, however, their recent turn of form won’t be of much concern should produce a win on Friday night.

Anthony Milford will be on hand for the home side to welcome South Sydney to Brisbane after he won the game for the Broncos in the sides’ earlier meeting in 2017 with a 78th-minute field goal.

The Broncos have been strong defensively for much of the year and that will pose a problem for the offensively-lacking Rabbitohs. Halfback Adam Reynolds has been named despite concerns over his knee while Bryson Goodwin comes back into the centres for the Redfern club.

Proven match-winners all over the park should provide the Broncos enough firepower to return to the winner’s list in front of their home fans.

Broncos by 10.
