Senior Titan Greg Bird says he is waiting for clarity around the salary cap for 2018 before deciding on his future beyond next season.
Bird is tied to the Titans until the end of 2017 and rumours continue to swirl about his future, with Newcastle coach Nathan Brown having publicly declared his interest in the representative forward earlier this year.
Bird wants to finish his career on the Gold Coast and the Titans are understood to be interested in extending his deal if he holds form next year.
