Raiders five-eighth Aidan Sezer will seek a move from the club by June 30, according to a report by Nine.

The 27-year old has struggled for senior opportunities this season and has found himself buried behind playmakers Sam Williams and Jack Wighton.

It is believed that a number of rival clubs could be interested in Sezer should he secure a release from Canberra.

Sezer had played just two first-grade games this season and has been playing for Mounties in the NSW Cup.

  1. Would be a win win for the the Raiders and Sezer. Obviously he hasn’t been good enough to play first grade and they have been great without him so it’ll just free up a big amount of cap space. Ata Hingano is a promising youngster who can play back up half.

Would be good to see them get 1 more big hardworking dominate forward and maybe a utility. Maybe they can unlock Fa’manu Brown who has struggled to live up to the hype. As for a prop they is a few off contract they could try make a play at George Burgess, Daniel Alvaro, Joe Ofahungue, Christian Welch

  2. Should have let him go a couple of seasons ago to be honest. Too inconsistent, lateral and no X factor. Was exposed last year when Austin wasn’t going well. And now, with spitting the dummy rather than work on his game (like Williams did) to get his spot back, shows he has no heart.

    Good riddance!!!!
